SHOPPING CENTRE CELEBRATES CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK
To celebrate National Customer Service Week (3-7 October), staff at intu Milton Keynes are putting on a daily surprise to show customers that intu Milton Keynes is more than just a shopping centre.
Yesterday, 30 people, selected at random, were given FREE parking and today is Twitter Tuesday, where shoppers could win a £50 intu Gift Card. Simply find a jolly member of the intu Milton Keynes team, take a selfie and upload it to social media with #TwitterTuesday. The best and most creative selfie will win!
Wednesday 5 is Winning Wednesday! Look out for intu Milton Keynes’ staff as they’re armed with heaps of FREEBIES and GOODIES to hand out and say ‘thank you for shopping with us’.
Thursday 6, the intu Milton Keynes staff tour the complete centre and each store department to get to know their colleagues better. It’s a chance for retail staff to meet the management team, ask questions and find out what’s new in the centre.
Friday 7 is Chatty Hour, at 2pm, EVERYONE from the intu Milton Keynes team will down tools and come onto the mall to talk to customers, answer questions and listen to how the centre can be the best it can.
“Customer service is vital in all businesses but especially for shopping centres. We already have a great ethic of listening to our customers and responding to their questions but we’re always looking at ways we can improve”, says Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes.
She adds: “Customer Service Week is also about surprising our customers, making sure they leave with a smile and give them more reason to come back again.”
