DEAD LEGS!Stuart | YLF
There are two types of “dead legs”
1. Intramuscular: blunt force trauma to the muscle where the bleeding is contained within the muscle area.
2. Intermuscular: the epimysium surrounding the muscle is broken along with the damage to the muscle tissue, the resulting bleeding spreads outside of the damaged muscle.
As with most injuries, this can be treated effectively with physiotherapy but patience is key! With all consultations, we aim to cover all options to ensure you get the best treatment for you.
