MAKE IT AMAZING WITH HALF TERM AT INTU MILTON KEYNES

Half Term- French activityChildren will be kept entertained with fantastic new skills to try out at home during the half term holidays, thanks to free workshops in everything from painting to cookie pop making at intu Milton Keynes.

As part of intu’s mission to ‘make it amazing’ for families this half-term, the intu Milton Keynes Kids’ Club will be running a packed week of exciting events to help children pick up fun new skills and make something amazing. Different activities will take place each day from Monday 30 May until Saturday 4 June.

Monday 30 May and Saturday 4 June – intu Milton Keynes crafting
10am – 4pm
Location: Kids’ Club area, near the Customer Information Desk (next to Debenhams)

Let your little ones get hands-on and creative with a variety of craft based activities to get stuck into.

Tuesday 31 May – Waterstones book reading
11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm
Location: outside Waterstones

Children can get lost in a world of imagination as Waterstones hosts a series of book readings outside the store.

Wednesday 1 June – Painting workshop
11am – 4pm
Location: Kids’ Club area, near the Customer Information Desk (next to Debenhams)

It’s time to get those creative juices flowing with this French-inspired art workshop. Children will get the chance dress up in white shirts, a red beret and a moustache, all while creating their very own masterpiece to take home.

Thursday 2 June – Cookie Pop workshop
10am – 4pm
Location: Kids’ Club area, near the Customer Information Desk (next to Debenhams)

Cookies always go down a treat and your little ones can decorate their very own cookie pop to take home with the help of local superstar cake artist, Karrin Simpson.

Activities are free, with no booking required and are open to all ages, but are particularly suitable for children in pre-school and early years.

Shelley Peppard, the general manager at intu Milton Keynes, said: “We’ll be helping families make the most of half term with the opportunity for children to leave our centre having made something amazing or picked up a new skill that they’ll be looking forward to trying again at home.

“We’ve worked hard to put together a fun-packed set of activities that will put a smile on the faces of all our customers at intu Milton Keynes and we can’t wait for them to see what we have in store.”
