Willen Hospice
‘we are always there to care’ Willen Hospice is located within a peaceful setting overlooking Willen Lake in Milton Keynes. It is a registered charity that provides complex and individual care to terminally ill adults whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment (also known as specialist palliative care). The care is assuring, equally accessible, advanced and often takes place in peoples’ own homes. It is free to the patient and provided by a highly experienced team of professionals that are equally skilled in supporting families and friends. Staff and volunteers work closely within the local community from which they need constant support to help secure financial stability to ensure that Willen Hospice is always there to care. From sky-diving to a 24hour bowls contest; a corporate golf day or a midnight walk of over 2,000 women; there are many wonderful ways the local community supports the Hospice. Willen Hospice has nine shops around the region including Stony Stratford (2); Bletchley (2); Leighton Buzzard; Olney; Towcester; Buckingham (2) and Newport Pagnell. You can donate good quality second hand items either directly to the shop or at the Warehouse in Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. The Hospice also has an online Shop where items can be purchased securely, plus each week, someone can win £1,000 by playing the Willen Hospice lottery – Register now.
